I’m sure if you have owed a dog you have thought you had the best dog in the world. You are not wrong!
However, I have been blessed to own some truly amazing dogs in the whole world as well. I’ve created this page to as a tribute to them.
We have made some of the most amazing memories together over the many years I have been in dogs.
Every time one of these dogs have crossed over the rainbow bridge my heart was just shattered and there are many I will never never get over.
I can’t wait for the day that I can meet them all in heaven.

Elle De Soliel Shayna Nason CDX, OA, WCX, JH, CGC, TDI, TT “Shayna”
I acquired my first Labrador “Shayna” in 1993 she was the most adorable yellow puppy I ever seen! I had no idea what I was doing when purchasing my first Labrador and back then there was no internet just newspaper. Found an ad in the paper drove to a farm - fantastic people and parents. Not something I recommend today and I got super lucky to have her for 15 wonderful years.
So I got this new puppy what now ? Puppy school of course! I found a place called Dogs R Us took a couple puppy classes to find this school was very competitive in the obedience ring. After talking with my trainer Ann Loris we where entered in our first AKC obedience show. We had so much fun! After traveling everywhere and almost every weekend I was hooked. However, one day I noticed what was Labradors running around in circles. We ventured to that ring to see what was going on. Someone told me this was the confirmation ring ! Looking at the end of my lead and realizing my beloved Shayna didn’t look much like those dogs ! Again no computers or internet to do research I started asking around to learn more. However, this never changed my longing love for Shayna and we continued on obtaining many other performances titles in our journey together. The bond and love we had for each other are pretty hard to explain.

Ch Empress Faded Glory JH “ Glory”
My nickname for her was Bubbie. Glory was my first bred by AKC Champion a couple generations from Shayna. She made me laugh daily with her silly butt tuck runs around the yard a grand dog for sure with so much to give. Glory and I where together 24/7 she went to work daily. Loved to sneak and beg cookies from anyone she would meet.

Empress Prima Donna “ Diva”
Diva was Glory daughter and such a joy to have around the house. She loved everyone with the best tail wag and her big ole butt ! Those big beautiful brown eyes and daily smiles made the world such a better place. Diva won the bred by class at Potomac one year what a great accomplishment for a young breeder myself and again another generation from Shayna. Diva also was awarded Best Veteran at Greater Atlanta LRC which brought tears to my eyes for she was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer and I knew our time together was going to be shortened. With the best oncology doctors and the best meds I did get to keep her with me for 4 more months. One of many funny antics that she loved to do was get toilet paper off the holder in the bathroom and pull the cardboard out just to eat it. Of course the toilet paper roll would be ruined and would need to be thrown out. She loved cardboard! So I would save TP rolls and give them to her for her birthday.

MBISS Ch. Empress Clean Slate JH, DN “Slate”
First time I laid my eyes on this puppy I knew he was going to be something very special. This dog excelled in everything you asked him to do. Slate was a big handsome dog that thought he was a lap dog ! With such a good natured and sweet disposition we connected early and our love grew. At an early age I was blessed with many specialty wins with him. However, I will never forget Slate being awarded Best Opp in sweeps at Potomac by a very respected breeder judge. Slate was a Diva son and Glory was his grandmother. I love you Slate-man.

Empress Miracles Do Happen JH “Fate”
Fater Gator was a fabulous dog from structure to his wonderful temperament. So sweet and very naughty all wrapped up in one. He excelled in the field and just loved the game and getting his birds. Sad fully he was taken from us way to soon. You are forever in my heart.

Empress Medicated Magic “Remedy”
Remedy was my soulmate/child this dog made me laugh, giggle, smile, multiple times a day. When she slept I would just watch her and knew I was falling deep in love with her. A feeling I never felt in a dog and more than likely never will again.
Remedy at a young age had some type of skin issue so I knew noone would care of her like I would so she was just going to be my pet. Sadfully she was unable to have a litter of puppies to carry her legacy on because she was on prednisone most of her life.
Remedy’s very first specialty she was Best Opp in Sweeps. A moment I will never forget.
Remedy had many challenges with health issues all 14-1/2, 5 months, and 2 days of her life. She took everything on with a smile and a wagging tail. She was unstoppable. After loosing Shayna I wasn’t sure I would love any dog again like I loved Shayna however, Remedy broke down those barriers and jumped right in to my heart and I was love struck …. The love, smiles, and silliness she shared with me are completely indescribable but I felt it every day and I can only hope she felt the same way back.
Remedy was a Glory daughter and traveled daily with me to work and would just extrude out love particles every moment of the day. She made me a better person and I looked up to her. She loved everyone and every moment of life even though she was thrown many lemons.
I remember when she turned 7 and me saying to myself I’m going to give this dog the best life I could possibly do and I did just that.
We traveled everywhere together vacations, work, errands, ice cream shoppes, Portillo was one of her favorite stops. Remedy had a fan club at Specialty shows, hunt test training people where always very welcoming, loved seeing her, and always sharing a cookie or two ! She was such a pleasure to be around. If I could learn one thing from her and that would be keep smiling no matter what !
Remedy I loved you for your whole life, now I will miss you for the rest of mine. 2-17-2006 thru 1-29-21 (the best time of my life)

I would like to mention Dr Josh Smith. This was Remedy’s pulmonary specialist. He save her life literally one day when another vet misdiagnosed her. He swooped and saved her. He was always there for Remedy and I when needed.
Sad fully we tragically lost Dr Josh to suicide right after Remedy’s passing. “Not One More Vet” please be nice to your vets they have a tough job. My only regret was I wish I would have seen some signs so that I maybe could have helped him back. He will always be in my heart.
The toughest part for me in life is loving a dog more than life and them loving you back, they just don’t bless our lives long enough.
